“International cooperation in H2020 Secure Societies calls – Sharing experience with Latin American countries”

In this occasion, experts from Argentina will present some specific experiences and initiatives related to H2020 Secure Societies calls.

The webinar is addressed to all Secure Societies NCPs as well as to National NCP Coordinators from Latin American countries, where a SC7 NCP in particular is not appointed yet. The webinar is jointly organised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MINCYT), SEREN4 partner in Argentina. The aim is to explore potential cooperation with 3rd countries, in particular Latin American countries, showing cases and sharing experience from the Secure Societies calls.

Webinar Horizon 2020 Secure Societies: Funding Opportunities & EEN/NCP Support

This webinar aims to give in-depth information about the open Security topics for the final Horizon 2020 SC7 calls in AI, FCT and INFRA (take a look at the work programme here), and to inform potential applicants, Security NCPs and EEN advisors on how the two networks can help support applicants in their partner search and project preparation.

It aims to guide applicants towards the kind of support they need to find partners and join consortia, and to help NCPs and EEN advisors to stay informed about the other network’s activities and find ways to collaborate effectively.

The webinar will feature presentations from SEREN4 Network Security NCPs and the chair of the EEN Sector Group Aeronautics.

The Internal Security Fund (ISF) was set up for the period 2014-20, with a total of EUR 3.8 billion for the seven years. The Fund will promote the implementation of the Internal Security Strategy, law enforcement cooperation and the management of the Union's external borders. The ISF is composed of two instruments, ISF Borders and Visa and ISF Police.

RADPol2020 conference “Radicalisation in Central and Eastern Europe – trends, challenges and opportunities to counteract”

Three European projects MINDb4ACT, CHAMPIONs and BRAVE funded under the H2020 and ISF-P European Commission Programmes are pleased to invite you to register at the RADPol2020 conference “Radicalisation in Central and Eastern Europe – trends, challenges and opportunities to counteract”. Due to COVID-19 outbreak the conference will be held as online formula namely three webinars that will take place on 18th June 2020; 25th June 2020 and 2nd July 2020.

The conference aims to continue a dialogue on trends in various forms of radicalisation in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the challenges they bring. The goal is also to exchange experiences, good practices in counteracting this phenomenon, present the latest research results and the essence of multi-agency cooperation in this field.

SEREN4, the Security Research National Contact Point network, will organize three online webinars related to “Disaster-Resilient Societies” in the Horizon 2020 Security Calls of 2020.

These webinars will provide information and practitioner testimonials that can help those of you who are answering to the SU-DRS01, SU-DRS02, and SU-DRS03 topics. The work programme can be downloaded here.

1.     H2020-SU-DRS01 WEBINAR: Human factors, and social, societal, and organisational aspects for disaster-resilient societies

This webinar will focus on how the citizens behave individually or collectively and how governments design and implement policies preparing for, reacting to, and overcoming disasters. The webinar presents also a testimonial related to the use of novel technologies in South Korea as a response to the COVID-19 crisis.

The SU-DRS01 webinar will take place on Tuesday May 19th from 10 to 11 am (CET).
