Internal Security Fund 2014-2020
The Internal Security Fund, which supports the implementation of the Internal Security Strategy, can provide funding for projects relating to drug supply. This includes cross-border cooperation against drug production and trafficking, and the development of innovative approaches to improve the understanding of drug markets and improve the effectiveness of drug law enforcement. It has a budget of around € 1 billion.
 
Internal Security Fund – Police
The Internal Security Fund - the Police (ISFP) is a component of the Internal Security Fund. It contributes to ensuring a high level of security in the EU and focuses on two objectives:
Fight against crime: tackling serious and organized cross-border crime, including terrorism, and strengthening cooperation between EU law enforcement authorities, relevant EU bodies such as EUROPOL and non-EU and international organizations;
Strengthen the EU's capacity to effectively manage security risks and crises and protect people and critical infrastructures against terrorist attacks and other security incidents.
For 2014-2020, EUR 342 million is available for ISFP funding through grants and other direct actions.

Internal Security Fund - Borders and Visa
The Internal Security - Borders and Visa Fund (ISFB) is a component of the Internal Security Fund. It promotes the implementation of the Internal Security Strategy, law enforcement cooperation and the management of the Union's external borders. It focuses on two objectives:
Visa: effectively process Schengen visas, supporting a common visa policy, providing high quality visa service for visa applicants, ensuring equal treatment of non-EU nationals and combating illegal migration;
Borders: Achieving a high level of external border control by supporting integrated border management, harmonizing border management measures across the Union and exchanging information between EU Member States and Frontex to stop illegal migration and ensure a smooth crossing of the external borders. For the period 2014-2020, EUR 2,76 billion was initially made available for ISFB funding actions, of which EUR 264 million through subsidies and other direct actions. In response to the migration crisis, the global ISFB allocation has increased.
 
 
Justice Programme 2014-2020
The Justice Programme, which aims at contributing to the further development of a European area of justice, funds projects relating to drugs, in particular on policy coordination, judicial cooperation on drug-related issues, and new psychoactive substances. It has a budget of € 378 million.

Europe for Citizens 2014-2020
The aim of this programme is to contribute to citizens' understanding of the EU, to foster European citizenship and to improve conditions for civic and democratic participation at EU level by developing citizens' understanding of the EU policy making-process and, by promoting opportunities for societal and intercultural engagement and volunteering at EU level.

Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF)
The Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) contributes to the efficient management of migration flows and to the development and implementation of the Common Asylum and Immigration Policy. AMIF has four objectives:
• strengthening and developing all aspects of the Common European Asylum System;
• support legal migration to Member States in accordance with their economic and social needs and promote the effective integration of non-EU nationals;
• Strengthening fair and efficient return strategies in Member States that contribute to combating illegal immigration, with emphasis on sustainability of return and effective readmission in countries of origin and transit;
• increase solidarity and division of responsibilities between Member States, especially those most affected by migration and asylum flows.
For the period 2014-2020, EUR 3.1 billion was originally made available for AMIF funding actions, of which EUR 385 million through grants and other direct actions (Union actions, emergency assistance and the European Migration Network). In response to the migration crisis, the full AMIF allocation was increased.
