Security Research Event 2018

On 5-6 December 2018, Brussels will host the 2018 edition of the Security Research Event (SRE 2018), organized by the European Commission with the support of the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology.
The main theme of this edition, will be: “Making Europe a safer place - demonstrating the impact of EU-funded security research”.
SRE 2018 will pool together about 800 participants representing a broad range of security stakeholders: researchers, industry representatives, public security providers and practitioners (i.e. fire departments, police, border guards, intelligence agencies, etc.), as well as a wide number of policymakers from across Europe.
The event will mainly consist of:
- The Conference: the different aspects of the theme “demonstrating the impact of EU-funded security research” will be specifically debated;
- The Exhibition: it will concretely support the SRE 2018' theme with 50 projects showcasing their results.
The participation is totally free of charge but the registration is mandatory.
The registrations will close on 30th October 2018.
