esa_logo_smlCeremonia semnarii Acordului dintre Guvernul Romaniei si Agentia Spatiala Europeana privind aderarea Romaniei la Conventia Agentiei Spatiale Europene a avut loc pe data de 20 ianuarie 2011 la Ministerul Afacerilor Externe. Acordul a fost semnat de Jean-Jaques Dordain, Director General ESA si Marius-Ioan Piso, Director General al Agentiei Spatiale Romane, in prezenta lui Teodor Baconschi, Ministru de Externe al Romaniei, a cosmonautului Dumitru Dorin Prunariu, Presedintele Consiliului Stiintific al Agentiei Spatiale Romane si a mai multor personalitati.
